PRIMARY PURPOSE:

As Utility Porter, you will set the stage for guest experience with your welcoming smile and service. By understanding their unique stories and needs, you will own their experience to create WOW moments and memories they will carry with them far beyond their stay with us..

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service, in alignment with S.H.O.W. Service Basics and exceed guest expectations
• Maintain the highest standards to ensure the detail quality and cleanliness in the casino, public areas, offices, restrooms and other required areas
• Operate various professional floor care and specialty cleaning equipment such as rotary machines, extractors, and other floor polishing and carpet cleaning equipment
• Shampoo carpets and polish many variations of hard floor surfaces
• Contains and cleans biohazardous materials
• Perform other job-related duties as requested

A GREAT CANDIDATE:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Has in possession or is able to obtain a Drivers License
• Has experience with shampooing, polishing, and maintenance of various floor surfaces and materials
• Is comfortable with heights and operating scissor lifts
• Has the ability to lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs
• Is able to work On Call and varied shifts to include weekends and holidays
• Has the ability to work safely, including understanding and following company safety policies and procedures, completing work in a safe manner, caring about safety of self and others, responding appropriately in an emergency, and reporting unsafe conditions; this also includes being aware of unsafe conditions such as spills, wet areas, debris, and addressing quickly and efficiently
• Is able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms
• Has excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts
• Maintains a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance adhering to company standards
