The Senior Radiographer is responsible for:

  • Performing routine and the more complex imaging examinations in Diagnostic Radiology on a scheduled and emergency basis following departmental QC/Exam Data Integrity Workflow Expectations.
  • Actively participating in training of clinical staff.
  • Acting as a mentor to less experienced staff. Participates in operational duties assigned by and under the direction of the manager.

The Senior Radiographer must have the following:

  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT).
  • Must meet, successfully complete, and maintain the ARRT certification.
  • Registered in all modalities practiced.
  • BLS certification
  • Associates Degree
  • 3 years of experience
  • Current MA Radiologic Technologist license is required for General Radiography, CT and MRI
