Role & Responsibility:

  • Works collaboratively with the other Children's Urgent Care Supervisor to supervise all Children's Urgent Care staff in the day-to-day operations of all urgent care locations to ensure patients receive quality services in a timely manner.
  • Has responsibility for staffing plans, schedules, quality assurance, PPL, attendance, coaching and development of staff.
  • Work collaboratively with staff, peers, and department managers to achieve goals set forth by CUC Manager and Medical Director.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing required.
  • A license to practice professional nursing in the State of Wisconsin.

Experience & Skills:

  • Minimum 12 months of supervisory experience preferred, prior experience in a leadership role required.
  • Ability to work flexible hours (evenings and weekends) to meet patient care needs.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the principles of pediatric growth and development and child/family responses to fear, illness, injury and hospitalization. Specific skills, experience or accreditation in pediatric clinics preferred. This knowledge is usually acquired through a minimum of three years experience in pediatric nursing.

Certifications/Licenses:

BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider - American Heart Association, License RN-Registered Nurse (30) - State of Wisconsin
