THE OPPORTUNITY

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Electrician will:

• Repair, maintain and improve equipment operation, efficiency, reliability, and safety.
• Properly repair and complete maintenance of electrical equipment with minimal supervision.
• Conduct electrical equipment inspections, maintenance, and repair, including suggesting and implementing improvements to equipment reliability and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and repair process instrumentation, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), three-phase circuits and other process control hardware.

THE QUALIFICATIONS

The right candidate will be an experienced electrician with solid troubleshooting skills. Your credentials ideally include:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 5 years industrial electrical experience or equivalent combination of experience and education
• Strong commitment to safety
• Possess a strong working knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) and compliance in relation to, transformer operation and theory, electrical circuit design such as three-phase and motor control circuits, and PLC input/output and instrument wiring
• Prior experience with electric motors and starters, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, D/C circuit analysis and PCs and their operating systems
• Ability to work on day shift Monday - Friday, but be available for rotating callout coverage
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and troubleshoot and program electrical and electronic equipment, including Allen-Bradley PLCs
