Job Description

Torch Technologies is seeking an Electronic Attack (EA) Subject Matter Expert (Senior-grade) to join a team to assist the 39th Electronic Warfare Squadron (36 EWS), 350th Spectrum Warfare Wing (350 SWW), at Eglin AFB, Florida. The 350 SWW is the technical focal point for all electronic warfare (EW) support of warfighter systems for the Combat Air Forces (CAF). The mission of the 350 SWW is to develop and test mission data (MD) to defeat enemy radar and infrared guided missile systems, thus enhancing aircrew and aircraft survivability in combat. This mission includes operational EW testing, MD development/validation/verification, force development evaluation execution and facilitating foreign materiel exploitation.

This position requires a highly motivated individual with experience as an Electronic Attack Subject Matter expert to include the below essential duties:

• Deliver EA expertise to the 39 EWS through the understanding of modern and legacy Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (EMSO), including but not limited to communication, datalink, and radar systems.

• Must be able to deconstruct RF signals, and effectively communicate signal research to a support team.

• Must fully understand analog and digital signal processing, and be capable of effectively employing synchronous and asynchronous EA.

• Must be expertly familiar with digital RF memory and discrete digital synthesis technologies.

• Will require 15 to 30% travel.

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

• Must possess a Top Secret Clearance and have the ability to obtain a SCI Clearance. Must maintain clearance at required level.

• Must have at least a Master's degree in a technical/engineering discipline with over 15 years of experience in an EA capacity.

• Actual military EW flight experience may be substituted for the technical and/or Master's degree requirement.

• Must also have a demonstrated ability to recognize and analyze problems, conduct research, summarize results, and make appropriate recommendations.

• Must have a working knowledge of computer systems and an understanding of Windows-based personal computers and Microsoft Office software.

• Must possess the ability to communicate effectively both orally and written.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior military service in airborne EA applications is preferred.
