General Summary
The Main Desk Assistant/Arrival coordinator serves as the central receiver of incoming communication to the Emergency Department and performs the initial greeting/reception function, interacting with patients, families and visitors; unit-based staff; and clinical and clerical staff. The primary responsibilities in the Arrival Coordinator role include the accurate identification of patients utilizing best practices and established policies and procedure to ensure accurate selection of medical record numbers. Completing an accurate Epic Arrival.
