Acara Solutions is looking for a fully onsite Senior Accountant for one of our clients in Newmark, CA
. Primary duties listed but can extend to other areas to assist in other projects & gaps as needed. Possible contract to hire depending on candidate and growing needs of the department.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist in Accounts Payable vendor statements reviews
- Journal Entry Preparation & Entry
- Monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations
- Assist with Offsite Accounting Storage/Retention Project
- Assist in work process documentation & testing/validating SOX Controls.
- Review Credit Charge Account Statement coding/approvals complete/receipts support complete for sign offs/retention
Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
Job Qualifications & Skills
- College Degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited college or university
- Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational & time management skills
- Advanced Excel skills required
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Adherence to all company policies, procedures and safety rules
- Minimum 3 year of hands on working experience in similar listed responsibilities. Manufacturing a plus.
- Working knowledge of SOX and GAAP
- Work Experience of ERP systems with accounting transactions, e.g. Oracle, SAP
