Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Test and interface with global product standards covering energy storage systems, high power inverter converters
  • Execute product safety testing and support construction reviews in accordance with the standards
  • Execute grid interoperability testing, debug, data analysis, documentation
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to troubleshoot the EUT and prepare alternative solutions while meeting project timeline and safe work practices
  • Test Automation experience using AC/DC power sources, measurement equipment, electronic load banks and Power Conversion systems, Gannt charts and Project planning
  • Design, build, and utilize test equipment
  • Setup test configuration hardware and firmware, post process test results
  • Propose and implement process improvement opportunities to facilitate testing and certification process

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Understanding of high voltage, electrical principles and reading/generating electrical wiring diagram.
  • Understanding of Electrical schematic drawings, layout drawings, and other visual documentation
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and flexible to change
  • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks and accept direction on given assignments
  • Comfortable working with cross functional teams
  • Strong lab/test/data analysis/troubleshooting/reporting skills
  • Advanced knowledge in Python. Knowledge of Pytest a plus
  • Experience working with NRTL and global compliance is a plus
  • Willingness to travel, as needed
