Reporting to the VP of Corporate Marketing, the Director of Digital Strategy & Experience is responsible for overseeing strategy and development of current and future digital customer-facing properties and ensuring they deliver brand and business growth. This individual brings a highly strategic mindset, a hands-on understanding of technology infrastructure and enterprise data management, and a collaborative approach to driving net-new enterprise digital initiatives while maintaining and improving existing digital platforms and properties. The Director is responsible for the development and lifecycle management of marketing and customer experience tools and programs, and demonstrates a successful track record of delivering innovative digital strategies and solutions within a complex enterprise environment with many stakeholders. In close collaboration with BUs, IT, and within Corporate Marketing, they oversee the strategy and roadmap for digital products, balancing and prioritizing all key customers, and aligning resources against the highest impact activities. They build and maintain the product roadmap, drive digital customer experience governance as a key member of the cross-functional governance team, and continually refine and deliver on key digital priorities, both new and optimizing existing. The successful candidate will mentor, extend guidance, offer insight, provide leadership, develop talent, direct team activities, structure/lead agency engagements, partner with cross-functional teams, collaborate with region leaders, provide feedback, and be accountable for the overall quality of CertainTeed and Saint-Gobain digital experiences.

  • Develop a strong digital customer experience and marketing strategy that drives brand and business growth. Assess the competitive landscape, interpret user research findings, and integrate inputs from internal and external sources to build a cohesive long-term vision, strategy, and digital roadmap.
  • Drive 1CTX strategy and execution as a critical leader of the initiative, partnering closely with other 1CTX stakeholders across the organization to plan, define, and execute successfully.
  • Build and implement a strategy for ongoing maintenance, increased tech utilization, and improved organic optimization for all existing digital platforms. Align resources with an eye toward prioritization and business impact, and regularly measure and report on strategy, objectives, milestones, and KPIs.
  • Work closely within the Corporate Marketing team to find alignment points in customer experience, brand experience, SBD Marketing, and Integrated Marketing and drive collaboration to improve customer experience via digital platforms. Bring a spirit of shared success to horizontal collaborations such that digital roadmaps become a critical enabler of other strategies and goals.
  • Leverage data and insights to prioritize work and make data-driven improvements.
  • Provide expertise in UX mapping and digital design to optimize customer centric digital experience across our various platforms.
  • Coordinate closely with Customer Experience to drive insights into action on digital platforms, and measure and optimize outcomes.
  • Ensure all digital programs have clearly defined objectives, KPIs, and metrics to evaluate success and continuous, measurable improvement in client campaigns.
  • Provide strategic direction and oversight for Product Information and associated digital assets, and their architecture and taxonomy within PIM and DAM, enabling the highest and most elegant degree of utility and syndication.

This role requires the individual to be an effective communicator and possess the ability to work with and lead a group in an agile team environment. In this hands-on role, the Director will leverage prior experiences in a digital marketing agency or similar role and be responsible for high-impact B2B2C engagement strategies across multiple digital platforms.

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in the required field
  • 10+ years of progressive digital/ecommerce strategy experience
  • Strategic mindset and strong results orientation
  • Proven ability to lead a team with a broad set of customer needs
  • Strong conceptual design skills that translate user and business needs into successful digital experiences
  • Must have detailed knowledge of digital marketing channel management including: SEO, SEM, Marketing Automation, Display, Remarketing, Personalization) Prefer global experience
  • Detailed knowledge of digital analytic platforms and research tools to drive decision making
  • Demonstrated experience in working successfully in large, complex, aggressive organizations, balancing multiple assignments and deliverables simultaneously
  • Proven experience in cultivating organizational change and creating buy-in for new initiatives through market mastery and data-driven approach
  • Responsible budget management and financial acumen
