The Maintenance and Facilities Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing all necessary maintenance, safety, and security policies relating to the operation and management of the Beaverton Michigan facilities. These activities will include service and maintenance of the facility and ensure efficient operation of all building systems. This position is responsible for developing and managing all internal GMP and EHS protocols that are in place. The position will be responsible for coordinating maintenance and repair services as well as supervising contractors.
The Maintenance and Facilities Manager will comply and lead their teams within, in a manner consistent with the Principles of Conduct and Action of Saint-Gobain. With strategic guidance from the central Facilities Project Management function, Plant Manager, Quality Manager and Engineering Manager, this hands-on leadership position will ensure federal and local legislative compliance, develop and maintain ISO systems, ensure functional cleanroom design and validated systems compliant with ISO 14001 & ISO 13485 requirements, develop an autonomous WCM reliability culture, promote a safe working environment, conducts safety risk assessments, and reports all safety incidents, Exhibits good environmental practices and procedures consistent with job(s) performed and EMS (Environmental Management System) requirements.
In all work this position will ensure safe behavior, machinery, and regulatory compliance for EHS at the site Supervise effective utilization of personnel, materials, and equipment involved in the servicing of manufacturing facility and engineering. Maintaining and controlling facility security (physical and environmental).
