WHAT TO EXPECT
As an innovation leader, we look for ambitious, forward thinking, open-minded and well-rounded individuals to join our global team. Located in our Siloam Springs, AR manufacturing plant, you will be a Production Supervisor.
  • Lead and direct employees to ensure we meet customer expectations in all manufacturing areas including safety, quality, delivery, and cost
  • Supervisor will be over nightshift on rotating 12 hours shifts (6pm -6am) with additional hours as required
  • Will manage 80-90 direct reports and have responsibility for performance management and day-to-day coaching to ensure success
Key responsibilities (to name a few):
  • Provide daily direction and training to shop floor employees who perform work in production, assembly, and other shop floor areas ensuring efficient operations and processes
  • Communicate with staff and employees to drive alignment and consistency to goals and company objectives
  • Manage performance, productivity, attendance, quality, and housekeeping expectations and drive personal accountability
  • Address performance problems, recognition, and provide coaching where appropriate
  • Ensure policies and work practices are administered in a fair and consistent fashion
  • Ensure a continuous focus is placed on process improvement and reduction of waste
  • Empower and encourage employees to continually evaluate and improve daily processes
  • Ensure a safety-driven culture
  • Ensure expectations are clearly articulated, safe work practices are adhered to, and hold employees accountable for safety infractions
  • Investigate safety related issues or violations
  • Responsible for reporting and tracking of shift metrics

ABOUT YOU
  • High School education required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 2 - 5 years of supervisory experience required, preferably in manufacturing
  • Ability to work extended shifts with flexibility in schedule to support team as needed
  • Requires a working knowledge of equipment and production processes
  • Demonstrated ability to coach, lead and empower people
  • Demonstrated ability to drive accountability, resolve conflict and manage performance expectations
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to adapt and flex styles in a quickly changing team environment
  • Strong team player; proactively able to step in to support other team members as needed
  • Must have strong organizational and planning skills
  • Be able to prioritize and juggle multiple tasks while meeting expected timelines
  • Take action, anticipate the needs of internal and external customers, and self-direct to achieving results.
  • Use creativity to seek quality solutions and process improvements while keeping in mind the needs of the business.
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • General computer skills to include proficiency in the Microsoft suite of products (i.e. Excel and Word)
  • Must be able to work any shift and weekends as needed
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
