POSITION

Allspring Global Investments' Communications team is seeking a Project Manager/Communication Coordinator to partner with our Head of Corporate Communication, Head of Public Relations, and external and internal communication team members to support connectivity across the Communications team and keep communications processes on track, while maintaining appropriate discretion.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create strong connectivity across Comms team for most projects to keep processes on track in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining confidentiality as appropriate.
  • Draft press releases for corporate news as well as required investor relations needs and as appropriate publish to the wire.
  • Draft routine Product Alerts, Service Alerts or other business communications as required.
  • Prepare and schedule internal calls to share client change communication during contingency events.
  • Manage and oversee workflow to contribute content to Shareholder Letters.
  • Maintain all external facing organizational or leadership org charts.
  • Facilitate a smooth end-to-end workflow process for internal and external communication materials including copyediting, design (if appropriate), compliance, and where appropriate, distribution.
  • Have a high-level understanding of the investor audience to ensure proper disclosures and to understand which pieces are appropriate for which channels and regions.
  • Ensure all communication content is posted to Seismic and our external website in partnership with our Digital team.
  • Media monitoring and working in partnership with the head of Corp Comms and head of PR to update strategic PowerPoint decks to synthesize and share earned media results.
  • Pursue industry awards nominations for leadership.
  • Comms team liaison for workflow tool efforts at Allspring.
  • Provide necessary team back-up for all external, internal, and public relations needs including staffing press interviews when needed.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3 to 5 years of project management and/or communication coordination experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or other preferred.
  • Strong project management, organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills.
  • Attention to detail, agility, and willingness to engage in all aspects of Corporate Communications.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Prior experience working in financial services.
  • Working knowledge of Sales Force Marketing Cloud and Seismic is a plus.
  • Experience with media monitoring and database tools.
  • Strong, clear, and concise written and oral communication skills.
  • Power user of Microsoft Suite - PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook.
  • General knowledge and understanding of the financial services industry preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and in groups.
