Job Description

Primary Purpose
With minimal oversight, executes mid-level strategies and tactical day-to-day management of Supply Management (SM) governance (controls, compliance, processes, communication platforms) and Supplier Programs (SP) (onboarding, qualification, diversity management, sustainability programs) functions. Assists with the evolution and maintenance of the supply management governance and supplier programs processes, systems, controls, communication platforms and documentation.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supports all Supplier Programs (SP) through the completion and coordination of assigned tasks; in accordance with company policies and procedures. Tasks include the collection, input, reporting, and maintenance of supplier/vendor related information within ERP system.
  • Looks for, identifies, and reports opportunities to further develop and improve supply management and supplier program processes and functions.
  • Develops and executes internal/external related communications regarding SM/SP/COI and other key project deliverables/outputs. This includes editing and maintaining select department websites.
  • Coordinates status and issues reporting materials for senior leadership staff meetings (e.g., Supply Management Leadership meetings, Business Unit Leadership, and Legal Counsel as needed).
  • Supports the certificate of insurance (COI) program through renewing vendor's insurance requirements within the designated third-party compliance system, coordinates insurance renewals with stakeholders, and performs ongoing tracking and monitoring of the process to ensure it is done within accordance to company policy.
  • Provides SM/SP/COI process related training to internal and external clients to ensure department related processes are understood and followed in accordance with company policies.
  • Generates and monitors SM/SP/COI process through reporting (ad hoc and formatted) and dashboards as needed.
  • Develops and maintains strong working relationships with both internal and external clients, including the designated purchasing agents (DPAs), gatekeepers and accounts payable team.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by manager.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field of study preferred.

Experience

  • 3+ years of comparable previous experience required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Microsoft Office 365 Experience; Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, One Drive.
  • Experience working with third party procurement systems and tools.
  • Must be able to maintain a high level of customer service in a work environment of quickly shifting priorities and demands.
  • Exhibit excellent communication abilities; ability to communicate clearly and concisely via telephone, email and by direct contact.
  • Solid presentation skills.
  • Ability to convey technical information in a clear and concise manner to other less technically oriented end users, external customers, and suppliers.
  • Able to comfortably interface with all levels, inside and outside the organization.
  • Value teamwork, diversity and integrity.
  • Advanced analytical skills.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.

Licenses and Certifications

  • Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) preferred.
  • Certified in Supply Management (CSM) preferred.
  • Certified Professional in Supplier Diversity (CPSD) preferred.
  • Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) preferred.
  • Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) preferred.

HYBRID: Work a combination of onsite and remote days each week, typically 3 days per week onsite.
