Under general supervision, the Cardiovascular Technologist assists Cardiologists, Pulmonologist, and CV Surgeons during diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab and OR Hybrid Room. Assists the professional nursing staff with the preparation of the patients for diagnostic and interventional procedures; prepares, operates and ensures the proper functioning of equipment associated with the performance of these procedures. Monitors and records events, including the performance of hemodynarnic calculations. Practices radiation safety procedures; participates in performance improvement activities. Assists with patient transportation as needed. Performs quality control procedures as required. Responsibilities also include the requirement to be "on-call" when assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSComplete certification training from an accredited CVT school.
BLS and ACLS at time of hire with commitment to get ART within six (6) months of hire date.
PACS, Angiography, Cardiovascular monitoring and ability to achieve competency with auxiliary equipment.
One (1) year experience as CVT/RCIS, with cardiovascular cath monitoring and auxiliaryequipment; electrophysiology monitoring and auxiliary equipment and use for respective positions.

Annual Full Pay Range: $115,738 - $115,738 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)
Hourly Equivalent: $55.43 - $55.43
