Description

Position Goals:

Assist with preparation of financial statement disclosures related to public filings and regulatory reporting to ensure compliance with Security and Exchange Commission (SEC) rules and regulations and United States Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Assist with the development of balance sheet estimates, financial analysis, monthly variance analysis, Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reporting and analysis, budget analysis, capital planning and stress testing to support development of annual plan.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Assist with preparation of filing all SEC forms (10-K, 8-K, 10-Q, etc.)
    1. Prepare detailed documentation to support related financial statement disclosures.
    2. Gain proficiency with reporting software (i.e. Wdesk)
    3. Assist with data collection and disclosures of ESG related information.
  2. Assist with the process in developing balance sheet estimates:
    1. Source, compile, validate, reconcile and interpret data.
    2. Gain proficiency with Allowance for Credit Losses (ACL)-related software (i.e., Abrigo, Crystal Ball).
    3. Assist in performing ongoing monitoring (stress and sensitivity testing, back testing, trend analysis, metrics review, etc.) to evaluate model performance.
    4. Compile and document the results of analysis for communication to management, auditors, examiners, and committees.
    5. Prepare agendas, materials and record minutes for meetings related to duties, as needed.
  3. Purchased Loan Accounting:
    1. Assist with data and report preparation for fair value accounting.
  4. Partner with Business Intelligence on the development and automation of reporting needs and requirements as necessary.
  5. Prepare monthly and/or quarterly internal reports as required; prepare schedules for external reporting as assigned.
  6. Perform Capital Model and Capital Stress Testing, as needed.
  7. Participate in M&A analysis, as needed.

Position Requirements:

Education - Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related.

Experience - A minimum of two (2) years of finance, accounting or related experience.

Other - None.

Preferred Requirements:

Experience with Financial statement analysis.

Advanced MS Excel skills.
