Halff has an immediate opening for a Team Leader in Tampa, FL. The ideal candidate will bring civil engineering experience with a focus on Land Development in the consulting industry working with, or for, public and private sector clients. The successful candidate should have experience leading civil design and production staff in the planning, design, and execution of land development projects of moderate to advanced size and complexity. Ideal candidates will demonstrate the ability to make decisions independently and resolve complex problems. In addition to project delivery responsibilities, candidates must be able to perform business development, manage budgets, personnel, schedules, sub consultants, and client interaction. The candidate must also have the ability to support operations managers and practice leaders in business development and pursuit of Land Development opportunities.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor or Masters degree in Civil Engineering
  • 8 to 15 years of experience to support Land Development projects including residential planning, design, and construction
  • Licensed PE, preferably in Florida or can obtain immediately
  • Responsible for business development, production, and staffing
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Must be self-directed yet a team player, and have focus on quality, integrity and success
