Pay Range
$132,810.00 - $170,556.00 Annually for the SES.2 level
$159,330.00 - $204,636.00 Annually for the SES.3 level
Please note that the pay range information is a general guideline only. Many factors are taken into consideration when setting starting pay including education, experience, the external labor market, and internal equity.
We have an opening for a Radar Systems Engineer for modelling RF propagation and scattering, radar cross-section estimation and evolution as functions of time and aspect, capable of applying commercial and in-house simulation tools for analysis and design in support of our national security missions. You will be responsible for using your engineering judgement and modeling experience for a wide variety of projects including the areas of: radar detection, radar system characterization, radar cross section modeling and analysis, link budget estimation and general radio frequency (RF) electromagnetics. This position is in the Computational Electromagnetics Group of the Computational Engineering Division (CED), within the Engineering Directorate.
This position will be filled at either level depending on your qualifications. Additional job responsibilities (outlined below) will be assigned if you are selected at the higher level.
