Responsibilities

• Performing hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, calculations and design.

• Prepares (and/or responsible for) plans and specifications.

• Calculate quantities and prepare engineering estimates.

• Prepare technical reports, letters, and memos for development of projects.

• Organize and maintain project files.

• Other assignments as needed.

Qualifications

• Required: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering and have passed the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam (EIT) and the Professional Engineer's Exam.

• 4-8 years of professional experience required.

• Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel and storm water and drainage engineering software and have experience using Civil 3D and MicroStation.

• GIS and QGIS experience is preferred.

• Candidates must have good communication and technical writing skills.

• Experience with FEMA submittals is desirable.

• FLO-2D and HEC-RAS 2D training or experience is also desirable.
