RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct dimensional inspections on fabricated products.
- Confirms correct WPS is used, welders are qualified to the process and all welds complete.
- Ensures compliance with quality standards and safety procedures.
- Assure materials meet ASTM specification and match drawing requirements for shape.
REQUIREMENTS
- Have working knowledge of Welding and Fabrication codes & standards including AWS and ASTM inspection procedures specifically to D1.1. D17.1. Experience is a plus.
- Technical school training and/or extensive structural steel fabrication and welding experience.
- Have a minimum 3 years fabrication, inspection, and welding experience for a company that has AISC or ISO certification.
