Job Description
Members are expected to identify and resolve intermediate technology based work problems of a nature that employees are unable to solve or overcome. Types of issues resolved will be addressed by one of the following disciplines:
  • Application Development/Support: Database Administration, Application Design and Development, Quality Assurance, Incident Management, Financial Management, Project Management, Document Management, Service Management, Production Application Services, or Middleware Management
  • Infrastructure: Enterprise Network Management, Desktop Management, Server Management, Architecture, Security Management, Incident Management, Financial Management, Project Management, Document Management, Service Management, Asset Management, Storage Area Network, or Middleware Management
Requires scheduled on-call availability.

Discipline/Assignment Requirements:
  • Knowledge of Windows server OS and proficiency with client OS
  • Knowledge of configuration, and management of server and client equipment to support an enterprise infrastructure of a hundred plus servers and thousands of client devices
  • Position will require aptitude to manage network equipment and cyber security technologies
Job Duties Specific to the Assignment:
  • Configuration and management of server and client devices running Windows Operation Systems and a variety of applications under guidance of a senior information technologist or management. Devices also include, but are not limited to, Multi-Function Printers, scanners, storage, and mobile devices
  • Infrastructure systems (Server/Client/Security) administration, monitoring, incident management/troubleshooting, tracking, coordination, and reporting (e.g., performance, problem, change, capacity)
  • Work on projects for a variety of solutions which may require submitting items such as project plans, business case justifications, and project documentation
Qualifications:
  • Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Technology, or related field
  • Three (3) years' related experience in information technology specific to the assigned discipline (i.e. application development, database administration, etc.) that includes customer service
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Additional qualification as identified by the assignment
  • Must possess a valid Florida driver's license
  • Consideration for this position requires a credit check
