We're looking for Project Managers to manage and execute water and wastewater projects. This position will be placed in our Honolulu, Hawaii office. The Senior Manager, Project Management will manage and execute water and wastewater projects. Specifically, responsibilities include civil and wastewater/water engineering and project management for a variety of projects to provide planning, evaluation, design and construction related activities for water/wastewater and related facilities.

Detailed Description:

Job Duties:

  • Municipal water and wastewater design and optimization.
  • Master planning for water and wastewater systems.
  • Pumping stations and piping system process/mechanical and hydraulics design.
  • Biosolids and residuals treatment and dewatering.
  • Alternative energy power sources and generation.
  • Develop scope, schedule, and budget for design work orders.
  • Lead teams to develop pursuit plans, proposals and presentations including project understanding and approaches, and level of effort estimates.
  • Lead teams to develop and prepare specifications, detailed design drawings, reports, planning, and engineering services during construction.
  • Technical and quality control review of study, planning and design documents.
  • Prepare calculations, models and other technical deliverables for civil/utility related projects.
  • Utilize internal project management tools and resources to provide successful management of large projects that meet or exceed the project success metrics.
  • Coordinate with project managers, client service managers, and other project personnel from other disciplines.
  • Direct the work of, communicate effectively and coordinate with project teams including other disciplines (drafters, designers and other engineers).
  • Execute activities on projects for master planning and modeling of water/wastewater/conveyance systems.
  • Oversee and direct the work of engineering teams and subconsultants assigned to projects.
  • Conduct field investigations, perform condition assessment evaluations, assist with asset management and provide business consulting guidance to municipal clients.
  • Marketing, proposal writing, proposal management, and public presentations. Prepare and deliver presentations to clients and for professional meetings.
  • Telecommuting is permitted up to two days a week.
  • Regional travel may be required, 10% of the time.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (foreign equivalent degrees accepted) in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering or a closely related engineering field and 15 years of experience in any related occupation delivering projects on schedule, budget and meeting the client's expectations, providing oversight and guidance of project management fundamentals.
  • Must possess a Professional Engineer (PE) licensure from any U.S. jurisdiction.

Salary Range: The anticipated starting pay range for this position is based on the employee's primary work location of Honolulu, HI

$176,500.80 - $193,000.00
