About Marvell

Marvell's semiconductor solutions are the essential building blocks of the data infrastructure that connects our world. Across enterprise, cloud and AI, automotive, and carrier architectures, our innovative technology is enabling new possibilities.

At Marvell, you can affect the arc of individual lives, lift the trajectory of entire industries, and fuel the transformative potential of tomorrow. For those looking to make their mark on purposeful and enduring innovation, above and beyond fleeting trends, Marvell is a place to thrive, learn, and lead.

Your Team, Your Impact

We are looking for a motivated and accomplished candidate to join our highly-skilled team of RF analog and photonics product engineers. The Principal Product Engineer is senior leader responsible for independently driving new product and sustaining development for Marvell's cutting-edge analog and optical products.

Marvell's industry leading linear drivers for 100G to 800G coherent and PAM4 technologies; providing cutting edge performance, quality and reliability to enable the exponential acceleration of big data transmissions for long haul/metro and data center applications.

Marvell's transimpedance amplifiers (TIAs) ushered in the era of 100G and 200G networking and continues its market leadership with 400G, 800G, and beyond. Linear modulation enables much more data per optical symbol when compared to older technologies that provide 1 bit per optical symbol.

What You Can Expect

  • Leadproduct engineeringactivities, new silicon bring-up, product sampling, characterization, and qualification - from tapeout into high-volumemanufacturing.

  • Design and implement process-oriented and data-drivenproductionmethods to guarantee productquality.

  • Drive mechanical design of sockets, probes, fixturing, and alignment
optomechanics to enable efficient autonomous test of complex integrated
    photonic integrated circuits.

  • Plan and track major engineering milestones and drive cross-functional teams

  • In partnership with Test Engineering, create test plans from product requirement definitions, drive test time reduction and yield improvements to meet manufacturing targets

  • Work with Design and Test Engineering to guarantee product quality through test coverage at wafer-probe and package levels. Analyze test data and present conclusions to both management and cross functional groups.

  • Work with Operations and Planning to drive test, assembly and backend capacity to support on-time delivery according to the production backlog

  • Managesubcon partners and drive NPI process with a global OSAT team.

  • Provide necessary product engineering support to all customer returns working laterally with Quality engineering in a timely manner.
