Job Description Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Fleet Operations Team Member to oversee and streamline our comprehensive fleet management process. The Fleet Operations Team Member will be responsible for efficiently managing all aspects of our vehicle fleet, ensuring compliance with company policies and government regulations, and providing top-notch service to our clients and team members. Job Description

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

  • Assist in determining eligibility for company benefits for affiliates.
  • Assist in identifying available vehicles for the program.
  • Support the provision of vehicle options and configurations to Team Members.
  • Assist in determining benefit eligibility for Team Members.
  • Collaborate with Fleet Operations Coordinator to place vehicle orders.
  • Assist in submitting vehicle orders.
  • Support the assignment of eligibility slots to Team Members.
  • Assist in notifying Team Members when vehicles are ready.
  • Assist in preparing delivered vehicles, including inspections and registration.
  • Collaborate in scheduling vehicle deliveries.
  • Assist in paying maintenance bills and support maintenance tasks.
  • Collaborate in scheduling vehicle maintenance.
  • Assist in collecting deductibles from Team Members and initiating accident repairs.
  • Support invoicing Team Members for deductibles.
  • Collaborate in managing accident repairs and paying repair bills.
  • Assist in handling citations from Team Members and managing citations.
  • Assist in checking vehicle records and processing registration renewals.
  • Collaborate in managing vehicle auctions and processing vehicle returns.
  • Support the management of special-use and special lease vehicles.
  • Assist in managing vehicles damaged during transport.
  • Collaborate in selecting and maintaining vehicle management technology.
  • Collaborate with Fleet Operations Manager in managing 3rd party vendors.
  • Messenger/Driver Responsibilities:

  • Safely transport vehicles between locations.
  • Ensure secure loading and unloading of vehicles.
  • Adhere to traffic and safety regulations.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle movements.
  • Manage essential vehicle documents.
  • Prepare vehicles for transport.
  • Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and pickups.
  • Maintain clear communication with the Fleet Operations Coordinator.
  • Implement security measures during vehicle transport.
  • Respond to emergencies during transportation.

IMPORTANT EDUCATION

  • High School Diploma or GED

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Regularly required to travel outside between properties in varying weather conditions.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may need to travel from floor to floor, climb stairs, and may be required to travel outside between buildings in varying outdoor weather conditions. The employee may also be regularly required to remain in a stationary position (sit or stand) for 85% of the time; regularly use hands to operate office machinery and regularly required to walk, talk, and hear. The employee must demonstrate the ability to exert up to 25 pounds occasionally, and/or up to 25 pounds frequently, and/or up to 25 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects.
