Job Description

General Job Summary:

As a Program Configuration and Data Administrator, you will be responsible for managing configuration, change, and release management support functions for the Sentinel program. You will work closely with Integrated Product Teams (IPT) to create and maintain configuration baselines, supporting capability development, system sustainment, and operations. Additionally, your role will involve administering Teamcenter services, overseeing change management processes, supporting release management, and ensuring adherence to configuration, change, and release management policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform configuration, change, and release management support functions for the Sentinel program.
  • Expertly manage Teamcenter 12 server and client-side system administration activities, including TEM Deployment, BMIDE, and other customization updates.
  • Administer Teamcenter services on the Windows platform.
  • Perform due diligence, impact analysis, and deployment of Teamcenter customization packages.
  • Handle Teamcenter deployments and software releases.
  • Provide regular reporting of system health and evaluate additional monitoring procedures.
  • Provide on-call support for high severity incidents during weekends and off-hours.
  • Manage Teamcenter processes, including configuration identification, control, verification, and audit activities.
  • Oversee change management processes, including change proposal assessment, scheduling, and post-implementation reviews.
  • Support release management processes, including release planning, deployment, and life cycle support.
  • Review, develop, and recommend improvements to existing configuration, change, and release management policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate the review of engineering/configuration, change, and release data, documentation, and activities.
  • Prepare and maintain configuration, release, and build documentation.
  • Host Configuration Control Board (CCB).

Other Job Functions:

  • Develop, refine, and maintain build and installation processes and procedures.
  • Define and implement procedures for releasing new products throughout their lifecycle.
  • Provide change management and product configuration management guidance.
  • Assist in the review of system technical data and drawings.
  • Develop and maintain baselines and configuration control procedures.
  • Provide continuous coordination of progress on actions, tasking, and issues within the Configuration Management Team.

Required Experience:

Requirements:

  • Ability to maintain sensitive and classified information as required by government standards.
  • Proficiency in documenting and performing hardware and software version control processes, policies, and procedures.
  • Familiarity with Military and industry CM standards such as MIL-HDBK-61, EAI-649, ISO 10007, and CMMI.
  • Experience with industry drawing standards such as ASME Y14.100.
  • Ability to define and implement hardware and software configuration management processes.
  • Proficiency in developing product build scripts and procedures.
  • Strong skills in establishing and maintaining Program CM systems and document libraries.
  • Ability to develop and improve Program CM processes.
  • Capacity to provide CM process training to the program team.
  • Strong communication skills to report CM status to CM Management and Program Management.
  • Effective interaction with peers and supervisors.
  • Ability to adhere to workplace rules.

Education and Experience:

  • Bacheloris degree in a Technical or Business discipline or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of configuration management experience, including experience with DoD Configuration standards and procedures, data management, file management systems, Team Center (version 12 or newer preferred), and NX CAD software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and Visio.

Work Environment / Physical Requirements:

  • Office environment.
  • Ability to stand and sit for extended periods.
  • Ability to perform repetitive motion (keyboarding, 10-key, phones).
