CARPENTER
FULL-TIME
GENERAL CONTRACTOR
COMMERCIAL CONSTRUCTION

We are seeking an experienced Carpenter, who will be performing construction-related activities, which
may include operating a variety of hand and power tools. The ideal candidate will be dependable,
trustworthy, results-driven, hard-working, and able to demonstrate extraordinary attention to safety, and
the discipline to work independently, as well as work collaboratively with the R. C. Stevens Team Members
and Customers.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
* Constructs, erects, installs, repairs, finishes walls, drywall, and building framework using hand and
power tools, while conforming to local building codes.
* Interprets blueprints, sketches, or building plans in preparation of layout to determine
dimensions and type of material required.
* Capable of demolition and installation of ceilings, painting, carpeting, tile, and other
miscellaneous finishes independently or as part of a team.
* Smooths and finishes surfaces of poured concrete using a variety of hand and power tools
including floats, trowels, and screeds.
* Ability to work non-standard hours on occasion.
* Embrace a "Whatever it Takes" attitude.
* Other duties, as may be required.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
* The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in industrial or commercial facilities work.
* Must be able to read and interpret blueprints.
* Knowledge of the safe and appropriate use of hand tools and power tools for demolition and
carpentry.
* Proficient alone in reading and understanding blueprints.
* Knowledgeable in the assembly/disassembly of concrete forms and the use of concrete pumps,
installation of rebar, and placement of concrete is a plus.
* Prior Rigging knowledge is a plus.
* Experience with leveling tools such as laser levels and transits.
* Must have the appropriate tools of the trade.
* DFWP / Background Checks Required.
* A valid state driver's license.
* Travel as needed between different project sites.
