Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated new college graduate to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and testing BCD devices for high-voltage BCD and SOI processes. This role involves conducting extensive device and process TCAD simulations and collaborating closely with the Fab and Design Engineering teams. The engineer will perform design/layout, wafer processing, and simulation design of experiments (DOEs) to optimize process and device performance characteristics. Effective communication skills are essential for presenting technical data, results, and conclusions in team meetings. Troubleshooting techniques will also be utilized to isolate and resolve technical issues related to devices and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and characterize BCD devices for high-voltage BCD and SOI processes.
  • Conduct extensive device and process TCAD simulations using various techniques.
  • Collaborate with Fab and Design Engineering teams to enhance yield and optimize circuits and devices.
  • Perform design/layout, wafer processing, and simulation DOEs to determine optimal process and device performance characteristics.
  • Present technical data, results, and conclusions in team meetings.
  • Utilize troubleshooting techniques to isolate and resolve technical issues with devices and processes.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Good knowledge of semiconductor device physics.
  • Experience in device characterization and modeling/verification is a plus.
  • Good understanding of semiconductor process technology.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Familiar with Synopsys simulation tools.
  • Familiar with Cadence.
  • Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering preferred, with a major emphasis on Semiconductor Devices

Pay Range:

We offer a total compensation package that ranks among the best in the industry. It consists of competitive base pay, restricted stock units, and quarterly bonus payments. The annual base salary range for this position, which could be performed in California, is $64,480 - $128.000.*

*Range is dependent on numerous factors including job location, skills and experience.
