Job Summary:
Management of all Corporate Accounting activities. Management of Business Office accounting operations located at Corporate HQ. Technical Assistance and Training of Business Office personnel at contract locations. Coordination of company audits conducted by outside auditors, government auditors, insurance reviews, etc. Review of all transactions for compliance with Government Accounting Regulations (CAS/FAR) and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordination of Monthly Corporate Accounting Closing including:
- Review of Balance Sheet Accounts
- Project Revenue and Profit Recording
- Preparation of Consolidated Financial Statements
- Monthly Reporting
* Management of local Business Office Operations
- Supervision of staff performing Labor/Payroll, Accounts Payable, Billing, Cash Management and Electronic Payments.
* Provide Training and Technical Assistance to Business Office personnel located at various contract locations.
* Review all transactions for compliance with CAS/FAR and GAAP
* Coordination of various audits conducted by:
- Outside Accountants
- Government Auditors
- Insurance Company Reviews
- Bank Collateral Reviews
* Prepare/Assist with cost proposals.
Educational/Training Requirements:
* B.S. Business Degree (Accounting or Finance preferred)
* 10 years' related industry experience in Accounting and Finance
* Experience with Government Accounting Regulations (CAS/FAR) and GAAP
* Advance Certification/Training including CPA, MBA and/or MIS preferred.
Required Skills/Experience:
Supervision and management of employees
* Technical expertise in Accounting and Finance
* Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
* Data gathering, analysis, corrective actions, and reporting.
Work Environment:
Work is predominantly accomplished in an office environment.
Physical Demands:
Travel to other InDyne Contract locations.
