Job Description

The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for providing overall management of the design, construction and commissioning of a utility scale renewable project throughout the US. The PM will be responsible for managing execution of multiple engineering, construction, and/or procurement contracts. The PM will work with our internal and external teams, and subcontractors, to oversee the design of the project and will work with our on-site Construction Monitoring team to manage and monitor the work. Provide training and mentoring for assigned team members. Although utility scale renewable experience is preferred, it is not a requirement. The candidate must have experience managing large, complex construction projects.

This position is in Denver, CO and will report to the Head of Project Delivery. This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule of both in-office and work-from-home days.

What you'll do:

  • Manage the Project Team including the Contractors, the Owner-Engineer, the on-site Construction Monitoring Team and other Project administration staff. The on-site team may include a staff of 7 to 10 persons including site management, safety, logistics, and quality control.
  • Manage multiple construction projects at the same time.
  • Conduct Weekly Meetings including Design Reviews, Coordination with the local Utility and ERCOT, and Site Coordination.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports for Progress, Safety and Quality.
  • Manage Construction and Procurement Contracts, Invoices, Change Order Requests, Submittals and RFI's.
  • Prepare Cost Forecast Reports.
  • Assist with pre-construction activities
  • Assist with the management of the Project Schedule and Schedule Updates.
  • Assist with developing and implementing the Inspection, Testing, and Commissioning Plans.
  • Manage the Interconnection Process and Project Close-Out.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of the Document Controls Processes.
  • Provide Training and Mentoring to the on-site Construction Management Team.
  • Build, foster, and maintain a collaborative working environment within the Project Team.
  • Carries out other duties as assigned

What you bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years related experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of project management experience, preferably constructing large scale renewable or complex construction projects
  • Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skills.
  • Proficient with MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Construction Processes and Sequencing.
  • Hands on Experience with Tools and Equipment.
  • Leadership and Problem-Solving skills.
  • Ability to lead and adapt in a demanding, ever-changing environment
  • Takes a collaborative approach to getting the work done.
  • Physical ability to conduct regular site walks.
  • PMP is strongly preferred

  • Salary Range: $ 102,630 - $ 171,380 USD, annually
  • Actual salary offered may vary depending on geography, experience, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors
