Are you a seasoned Electronics Engineer with a passion for designing cutting-edge electronic systems using Altium? Do you possess a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in electronics design and thrive in a dynamic and innovative work environment? If so, we invite you to join our team at IS4S as a Senior Electronics Engineer!
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Electronics Design: Lead the design and development of complex electronic systems, including PWAs (using Altium Designer.
  2. Reverse Engineering: Proficiently reverse engineer designs from Printed Wiring Assembly (PWA) manufacturing files, ensuring a deep understanding of existing systems for improvement and troubleshooting purposes.
  3. Schematic and PCB Layout: Create and review detailed schematics and PCB layouts, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  4. Component Selection: Select and source electronic components, considering factors such as cost, availability, and performance.
  5. Prototyping and Testing: Oversee the assembly and testing of prototypes, identifying and resolving design issues as they arise.
  6. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, software engineers, and manufacturing teams, to ensure seamless integration of electronics into final products.
  7. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of designs, changes, and project progress.
  8. Quality Assurance: Support quality control processes to ensure the reliability and functionality of electronic systems.
  9. Research and Innovation: Stay updated with the latest advancements in electronics technology and suggest innovative solutions to improve product performance.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in electronics design using Altium Designer.
  3. Expertise in reverse engineering electronic designs from PWA manufacturing files a plus.
  4. Strong knowledge of industry standards and best practices in electronics design.
  5. Proficiency in schematic capture, PCB layout, and simulation tools.
  6. Experience with component selection and sourcing.
  7. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  8. Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  9. Ability to work independently and lead projects.
  10. Familiarity with regulatory compliance and certification processes is a plus.
