We currently have an outstanding opportunity for a talented Project Architect with 10 or more years of experience in Green Cove Springs, Florida.

This position is perfect for an up-and-coming Architectural leader looking to expand their knowledge, exercise their creativity and grow into a larger role.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform architectural and design assignments of a complex nature, applying thoughtful architectural design concepts and advanced professional knowledge.
  • Establish design direction and manage development of technical drawings and specifications.
  • Establish and manage overall project schedule and budget, with responsibility for quality control.
  • Conduct Programming and Planning studies.
  • Conduct code reviews and compliance analysis.
  • Coordinate client contact and maintain working relationship at all levels throughout the project.
  • Assist in business development and proposal preparation.
  • Prepare proposals, contracts, correspondence, and project documentation.
  • Travel to jobsites, with occasional overnight stays.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture with 10 or more years relevant work experience
  • Must be a registered Architect
  • Judicial, Municipal, Educational, Transit, Aviation, and/or Federal Project experience is preferred
  • Experience in a variety of project types, scale, and complexity; following project from conception through completion.
  • Experience working on concurrent projects, collaborating with multiple design disciplines, and technical production project experience.
  • Proficiency in REVIT is preferred.
  • Ability to visit and safely traverse construction and project sites and complying with all applicable safety codes and requirements.
