HOW YOU CAN CONTRIBUTE
Reporting to the Controller, the Staff Accountant is responsible for general accounting activities. This will include monthly journal entries, GL account reconciliations, processing accounts payable transactions, and posting cash receipts. Additionally, this position will be responsible for processing incoming mail and emails and routing them electronically to the appropriate individuals. This remote hybrid position requires visits to ETR's Scotts Valley, CA office at least once a week.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
- BA/BS with an emphasis in accounting required.
- 3-5 years of accounting experience.
- Knowledge of GAAP accounting.
- Experience working with NetSuite and all Office 365 applications.
- Experience managing and overseeing financial software systems; strong PC skills and advanced knowledge of spreadsheets and word processing.
- Ability to prioritize work and perform duties in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to perform work in a highly organized and accurate manner.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience working under pressure to meet deadlines; ability to work additional hours as needed.
- Ability to follow procedures and work autonomously within a team environment.
- The use of a personal vehicle or rental car for ETR business will require a valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
- This position is subject to a background check.
Location: Hybrid schedule. This hybrid position requires visits to ETR's Scotts Valley, CA office at least once a week.
Starting Pay Range: $70,900 to $86,600 annually. The typical hiring range for this position is $70,900 to $78,800 at 100% FTE. The starting salary is determined based on the candidate's knowledge, skills, and experience.
