Responsibilities
  • Define single PO, Tool PO, and Scheduling Agreements in ERP System (SAP/Aurora).
  • Request For Quote processing.
  • Price negotiation on product level.
  • Analysis and evaluation of supplier quotations.
  • Selection of series suppliers together with Purchasing Manager/Commodity Manager.
  • Responsible for optimized product cost in close cooperation with the development team.
  • Cost evaluation, value analysis, and evaluation of alternative materials or production processes on product level.
  • Preparation of relevant market data, reports, and presentations.
Qualifications
  • BS in technical field.
  • Two years' experience in purchasing in automotive industry preferred.
  • Technical knowledge of Vibracoustic's main commodities: compounds, stampings, aluminum die casting, tubes, extensions, etc. preferred.
  • Project management skills in automotive industry.
  • Negotiation skills.
  • ERP system experience.
  • Strong presentation, organization, problem solving, and communication skills required.
