Program Buyer
Responsibilities
Define single PO, Tool PO, and Scheduling Agreements in ERP System (SAP/Aurora).
Request For Quote processing.
Price negotiation on product level.
Analysis and evaluation of supplier quotations.
Selection of series suppliers together with Purchasing Manager/Commodity Manager.
Responsible for optimized product cost in close cooperation with the development team.
Cost evaluation, value analysis, and evaluation of alternative materials or production processes on product level.
Preparation of relevant market data, reports, and presentations.
Qualifications
BS in technical field.
Two years' experience in purchasing in automotive industry preferred.
Technical knowledge of Vibracoustic's main commodities: compounds, stampings, aluminum die casting, tubes, extensions, etc. preferred.
Project management skills in automotive industry.
Negotiation skills.
ERP system experience.
Strong presentation, organization, problem solving, and communication skills required.
