Job Description
Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago (Lurie Children's) and McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University are pleased to offer a one-year non-ACGME-accredited Pediatric Neuroradiology fellowship. We currently have one (1) open position for the 2024-25 academic year. Preferable applicants must have completed or be on track to complete an ACGME-accredited Neuroradiology or Pediatric Radiology fellowship (or an equivalent) prior to the program start date.
Lurie Children's is a 364-bed hospital making it one of the largest pediatric care providers in the region and one of the leading children's hospitals in the nation. The Division of Pediatric Neuroradiology is staffed by seven full-time, fellowship-trained pediatric neuroradiologists and one interventional neuroradiologist. Our faculty are dedicated to excellence in clinical neuroradiology, education, and neuroimaging research.
The hospital has a large brain tumor program, a level 4 epilepsy center, and a regional fetal surgery program. In addition, the hospital has busy neurosurgical, neurology, neurocritical care, otolaryngology, and genetic services. The fellowship provides extensive experience in all neuroimaging modalities, including CT, MRI, PET/SPECT, and advanced neuroimaging techniques, including perfusion, DTI, MR spectroscopy, and fMRI. A 3D post-processing lab assists with advanced neuroimaging examinations. Fetal MRI is performed by dedicated fetal imagers, and neuroangiography is performed by interventional neuroradiologists. More extensive dedicated exposure to these subspecialized services is available to interested candidates. The fellowship also has a strong academic component with opportunities and support for research projects and teaching endeavors.
Lurie Children's is in the heart of Chicago, situated between the beaches and trails of Lake Michigan and the buzzing downtown experience of the Magnificent Mile. Our beautiful new facility is connected via bridges to Northwestern Memorial Hospital and Prentice Women's Hospital.
Applicants should submit application via job posting. Applicants should also send a cover letter, CV, and three letters of reference, including one from your current program director, to:
