Full Job Description
Responsible for laying out, assembling, installing, or maintaining tubing, pipe systems, tubing supports, or related hydraulic or pneumatic equipment for steam, hot water, heating, cooling, lubricating, sprinkling, or industrial production or processing systems.

Promote and comply with all Company and safety policies and procedures
Identify and proper use of instrumentation materials
Knowledge of instrumentation tools and equipment
Understand principles of measurement as applied to instrumentation
Read drawings and P&IDS
Layout and install various size tubing
Install air pipe
Fabricate and install supports, braces, and hangers for tube tray
Layout and install instrument stands and supports
Mount and install instrument devices

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of three (3) years or more in refinery maintenance/turnaround/or construction experience. A general knowledge of basic hand tools. Must be able to pass the Instrument Fitter Skills Test at or above 70% or complete the NCCER certification for your craft. Completed the Matrix University Plus Safety training, Process Safety Management training and Client / Site specific training. To obtain and maintain an active status within the drug testing program.

The pay rate will depend on the successful candidate's qualifications and prior experience, specific skill set, geographic location, internal equity, and other factors influencing pay. As such, an actual salary may fall closer to one or the other end of this range, and in certain circumstances, may fall outside the listed hiring range.

Hiring range: $34.00 to $38.00 per hour
