Responsibilities
  • Ensure HSE compliance in area of responsibility; be a role model for FFT's HSE culture on site; ensure a safe work place for production employees
  • Lead operations according to Key Performance Indicators and business goals.
  • Implement manufacturing strategy and - excellence to the group strategy
  • Planning and develop business results securing profitability and productivity
  • Steer continuous improvement projects and initiatives for existing and new processes to enhance cost effectiveness
  • Plan and execute needed investments
  • Plan, organize, execute and implement projects of productivity and rationalization
  • Plan and monitor capital and operational budgets
  • Issue reports as required for management review
  • Provide open line of communications to and from subordinate staff and all employees
  • Initiate problem-solving through staff and ensure corrective action
  • Supervise staff in personnel issues (hiring, terminations, performance evaluations, corrective actions, training, etc.)
  • Securing customer satisfaction regarding quality and delivery reliability
  • Coordinate process engineering and maintenance team of the sites
  • Lead and develop staff by objectives, regular feedback and coaching
  • Plan and coordinate trainings and personnel development actions for operations
  • Control legal, company and other laws and rules for production sites
  • Manage procedure for determining labor resources needed, approve headcount levels, and participate in hiring
  • Plan, delegate and control work assignments and special projects to employees
  • Develop and operate within departmental budget
  • Develop proposals for optimization and long-range strategic planning and budgeting
  • Ensure compliance with the values & principles of the group and FFT
Qualifications
  • Preferred: Graduate mechanical engineer or similar study
  • Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering field preferred
  • Three years of industrial production or material production/assembly work experience
  • Project management experience
  • Broad knowledge in KAIZEN, TQM and continuous improvement process and Quality management systems are a must
  • Six Sigma much appreciated
