Job Summary:

The Manager of Corporate Finance is responsible for driving the close process, analyzing actual results, and the preparation of financial reporting as required by the AGAB senior management to effectively operate the division's 3 Business Units (F&S, AAB, EAB) while also ensuring timely compliance with Group Finance requirements with quality deliverables. Other key responsibilities include: Controllership of the Americas SG&A analysis and reporting on expenses and headcount; Lead Business Partner to the AAB BU on the monthly close cycle, periodic forecast process, annual budget and 5YR Strategic Plan; Manage and coordinate support to the HFM system; Manage division dashboard data integrity, support implementation of enhancements and training for division personnel. This critical role will require significant interaction with all levels of the AGAB Division Management team and plant operations across all 3 business units.

Job Duties:

  • Manage the preparation of timely and quality monthly financial reporting for the AGAB division leadership team and Group Finance, includes Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and key financial metrics for the division, BUs, and plants.
  • Business Partner to the AAB BU for the month end closing activities, monthly forecast process, annual budget and annual 5YR Strategic Plan; AAB Liaison with Group Accounting and FP&A
  • Controllership of Americas SG&A analysis and reporting of expenses and headcount; Business Partner to the Americas functional leaders; lead financial analysis and support with a focus on IT, HR and Commercial
  • Co-Lead analysis of AAB BU monthly financials, key performance indicators and explanations of key variances; Preparation of financial performance reports and bridges for Group, AGAB division and AAB Senior Management
  • Co-manage completion of all Corporate Financial compliance requirements for AAB BU as requested by Group Finance and PWC; Ensure financial reports are compliant and contain appropriate disclosures.
  • Co-lead AAB BU development and implementation of improved processes and controls within finance as it relates to accounting and FP&A
  • Co-lead division management of Power BI / dashboard data integrity / reconciliation, support enhancements and training of division users
  • Co-Lead management of key performance indicators (financial and operational)
  • Manage the support and process improvements of the Trivium HFM systems for the Americas
  • Ad-hoc projects and other assignments as directed by the Director of FP&A for AGAB.
  • Coordination of certain division or BU activities with the Director of FP&A for AGAB

Qualifications and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance
  • 7-15 years' experience in accounting / financial reporting & analysis
  • Significant ERP experience required
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, mastery of Excel
  • ERP experience required; SAP preferred
  • Consolidation system experience; HFM preferred
  • Proven written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive, hands-on, results oriented style
  • Strong service orientation and ability to work as a team with all levels of management.
  • Thorough, highly organized, and efficient work habits
  • Ability to proactively address and solve problems
  • Ability to challenge the status-quo while effectively working in multiple team-based environments
  • Balance detail orientation with "big picture" understanding of the business
  • Ability to travel as needed to plant/corporate locations, less than 20% of time
  • CPA, CMA, or Graduate Degree preferable
  • Prior experience within the Manufacturing industry
  • Experience with SOX compliance requirements

Work Environment:

This position will primarily work remotely or in an office environment where sitting for prolong periods of time and using a computer, telephone and other office electronics are critical. This position will occasionally travel to other plant or office locations.
