Talent Pool: Allied Health
Performs and develops appropriate quality assurance procedures and records. All procedures are completed on time. -------------------------------------------------- Performs and develops special clinical procedures to meet departmental and professional standards. -------------------------------------------------- Performs necessary tasks for physics projects and policy/procedure development. -------------------------------------------------- Performs patient chart checks and maintains appropriate patient record-keeping. All checks and record keeping are performed on time. -------------------------------------------------- Provides assistance with problem solving, troubleshooting, and maintenance for simulation, treatment planning, and treatment delivery personnel and equipment. -------------------------------------------------- Serves as a resource for all aspects of simulation, treatment planning, and treatment delivery. Demonstrates complete knowledge of all processes and is a resource for any issues related to the aforementioned areas. Provides radiation safety services to ensure patient and staff safety. EDUCATION: |
Required - Masters or Doctoral Degree in Medical Physics, Physics, or related field with additional training or experience in Medical Physics. Preferred - CAMPEP Accredited Masters or Doctoral Degree in Medical Physics |
EXPERIENCE: |
PREFERRED Minimum of 2 years working as an independently functioning medical physicist. |
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING: |
REQUIRED Drivers License | Valid Drivers License Certification by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) or American Board of Medical Physics (ABMP) in Therapeutic Medical Physics. Certification must be maintained throughout employment. |
