Job Description
Chord Energy is seeking an experienced oil and gas Production Reporting Supervisor to support various functions related to its upstream oil and gas assets. The primary responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to, proactively leading the Production Reporting team, including leading various team projects, mentoring less experienced analysts, and reviewing and approving daily volumes as well as facilitating the site setup and managing customer service efforts. This position reports directly to the Production Reporting Manager and is located in downtown Houston, TX.Occasional travel to our core areas will be required. Level and salary commensurate with experience.

Essential Functions of the Job
  • Develop, train and supervise production reporting team
  • Review daily volumes and work with various teams to correct, as needed
  • Review current property setups and facilitate a cohesive site setup and structure process
  • Review and facilitate customer service channels for daily volume questions
  • Review monthly volume variance report and investigate variances
  • Provide technical support and advice based on expertise and industry experience
  • Maintain SOX controls, policies and procedures
  • Lead/coordinate special projects, including software upgrades, as needed

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related degree
  • Ten (10) years of experience in upstream Production Accounting
  • Two (2) years of experience as a supervisor or lead
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
  • Strong analytical and research skills
  • Strong ability to proactively create and improve processes
  • Team-oriented individual
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and fluid environment; flexible with the demands of a growing company
  • Abilitytoconfidently present and execute ideas
  • Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: Must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer; stamina to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions, strength to lift and carry files weighing up to 10 pounds, vision to read printed materials and a computer screen, and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone.
