Job Description
General Description: Provide direct support to the PEO Aircraft Carriers Activity Chief Information Office (ACIO) in the areas of Information Technology (IT)/Information Assurance (IA)/Information Management (IM)/Information Security (IS), to include NMCI support and IT operations, .

The candidate shall provide support in areas of administrative and security services, policy and implementation, occupy and manage the help desk from 0800 – 1600 daily, and other duties as mission requires. This is not a telework position.

 
Role:
  1. NMCI Support
    1. Serve as PEO Aircraft Carriers technical help desk for NMCI.
    2. Assist with the development of NMCI Seat Order packages and general IT procurements.
    3. Troubleshoot all issues for users related to NMCI/Flank Speed access and performance.
    4. Maintain NMCI and other IT equipment databases.
    5. Assist with development/management of NMCI data calls.
    6. Participate in continuous improvement efforts.
    7. Provide paperwork preparation and disposal services of all PEO Carriers IT equipment, both classified and unclassified.
    8. Maintain in-depth understanding of NMCI and Flank speed accounts.
  2. IT Operations
    1. Interface with PEO Aircraft Carriers Team
    2. Monitor overall PEO Aircraft Carriers IT Operations. 
      1. Serve as focal point for network/desktop problem resolution that escalate beyond normal help desk capability. 
      2. Address/resolve network and desktop related issues. 
      3. Address support issues
    3. Maintain and monitor system architecture and software licenses for PEO Aircraft Carrier legacy applications.
    4. Provide user assistance/training for miscellaneous hardware, software, and peripherals
    5. Manage PEO Carrier moves/floorplans/buildouts with NAVSEA Operations through the contract process
    6. System Administration support for stand-alone classified computer systems
    7. Assist users with initial account access,
    8. Setup workstations for new and departing users,
    9. Ensure new/existing users have access to appropriate systems and shared drives,
    10. Ensure IT equipment area is clean, presentable, and does not pose a safety hazard,
    11. Establish and maintain a process for ensuring 100% IT equipment accountability,
    12. Manage provisioning and functionality of desk phones,
    13. Support unclassified and secure Video Teleconference Meetings (VTC),
    14. Ensure conference room equipment are functional,
    15. Conduct an IT peripherals inventory weekly,
    16. Conduct an annual computer inventory,
    17. Attend all required meetings,
    18. Follow Department of Navy requirements for handling and storage of sensitive information,
    19. Maintain a security clearance,
    20. Maintain access to a SIPR account,
    21. Support offsite meetings to ensure IT requirements are met,
    22. Uphold the highest level of customer service experience for the user community,
    23. Occupy the help desk from 0800 – 1600 daily (this is not a telework position),
    24. Other duties as mission requires.
 
Qualifications:
  1. 1-3 years of experience in technical support of a DOD program.
  2. Technical and financial knowledge for program management support.
  3. Ability to use Microsoft Teams, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel is required.
  4. Must have an active DOD Secret Clearance.
