Overview

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding MOHS Surgeon to the Dermatology group at Metropolitan Hospital Center. The hospital is part of theNYC Health + Hospitals System (NYCHHC). Metropolitan Hospital Center accommodates over 313,000 outpatient visits, nearly 70,000 emergency room visits and more than 13,000 inpatient admissions annually.

The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with New York Medical College.

Responsibilities
    Provide MOHS surgical services to a dedicated patient panel
  • Attend to a full spectrum of dermatological oncology procedures in a highly diverse patient population
  • Education of residents, medical students and junior medical staff
  • Per diem opportunity
Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Graduate from an accredited medical school.
  • Unrestricted NYS medical license, or the ability to obtain one.
  • Graduate from a Dermatology residency
  • Board certified in Dermatology
  • Fellowship trained in MOHS Surgery - Board Certification preferred but not required
  • Previous experience teaching residents preferred
  • Cultural sensitivity to a diverse and under-served patient population
