Air Liquide Large Industries provides our customers with industrial gas and energy solutions that are vital to their own industrial production. We own and operate over 2,000 miles of industrial gas pipelines in the U.S. supplying mainly oxygen, nitrogen, hydrogen and syngas in large quantities from multiple production sources to major customers in the chemicals, petrochemicals, refining and steel industries. Our pipeline operations and industrial gas production facilities are closely monitored 24/7 within our leading-edge operations control center located in Houston, Texas. Our operations control group monitors over 89,000 data points and assists with product supply and coordination. We are constantly optimizing our supply network to provide high reliability and energy efficiencies allowing Air Liquide to adjust supply needs more quickly and effectively enabling growth to our customers.

*Comply with all Air Liquide (AL) Policies & Procedures including Responsible Care
*Performs maintenance tasks including the execution of MAXIMO work orders
*Knowledge of the Safe Work Permit Process
*Prepare Job Work Plans
*Repair and overhaul pumps
*Familiarization with Equipment Alignment methods a plus - Laser preferred
*Replace mechanical seals and packing
*Ability to change gaskets, valves, fittings, etc
*Ability to pull & clean exchanger/cooler bundles
*General Mechanical Work
*Plans & schedules mechanical jobs as directed by supervision
*Documents critical measurements in the field and in the CMMS
*Participates in the optimization of mechanical PM's
*Identifies corrective maintenance activities and enters work request into the CMMS
*Maintain equipment records in both the CMMS and written form
*Assist Maintenance Lead in maintaining equipment manuals
*Be familiar with Reliability Center and Corporate standards
*Perform routine inspections on equipment as per AL standards
*Personal commitment to reliability improvement
*Assist other maintenance crafts as needed
*Ability to work callouts, nights, week-ends, & possible holidays
*Able to use precision tools to obtain critical measurements
*Able to document as-found and as-left measurements
*Proficient in the use of the CMMS system
*Knowledgeable in safe work practices, safety procedures and other safety requirements
*Knowledgeable in emergency procedures
*4 yrs + in plant maintenance activities (pipefitting or millwright) preferred
*Knowledge of compressors and pumps, different types, sizes, fluids and designs
*Expertise in the proper methods of locking out and blinding of rotating equipment
*Be able to distinguish all possible sources of energy in a system
*Expertise in operation of the following equipment - Forklift ,JLG, & possible 18 ton crane
*Has full range of motion and ability to lift 50 lbs
*Able to climb ladders and work off elevated platforms/surfaces
*Able to work in non-conditioned environment for extended periods
*Able to enter confined spaces for inspection, testing and work
