The Occupational Therapist, OT will be working in the Behavioral Inpatient Unit of the hospital which is an acute, short term, voluntary unit attending to patients ages 13 and older with mental health and/or substance abuse issues.
The primary responsibility of the Occupational Therapist, OT is to plan and conduct occupational therapy programs for patients in the unit. This includes evaluation, formulation of goals and treatment plans, treatment implementation, patient and family education assessments.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy
Maryland registration in Occupational Therapy (OTR)
At least one year of experience in mental health care setting
Hours:
PRN
Evenings
Hours can be flexible
