The Johns Hopkins Hospital Surgical Progressive Care Unit (Zayed 11 West) is a 32-bed unit caring for adult surgical patients. The unit offers 3 levels of care: floor, telemetry, and intermediate care (IMC). A general surgery unit caring for a mix of services.IMC patient arrythmia management, BiPAP/CPAP, bedside bronchoscopy, Thoracic surgery (lung resections, pneumonectomy, esophagectomy),Trauma, Urology(RRP, TURP), and a variety of other general surgery patients.
All New Graduate RNs will be automatically enrolled in our yearlong accredited Nurse Residency Program to facilitate your successful transition into professional nursing practice.
Shifts: Permanent day shift; Weekend rotation; 2 weekends out of 6 required.

Qualifications:
Associate degree from Accredited Nursing Program required. BSN/MSN matriculation required within 1 year of hire and completion of degree within 5 years of hire.

Active Maryland Board of Nursing (MBON) or Compact RN license is required
BLS CPR certification required
