Primary Responsibilities
HDR is currently seeking to hire a Control Systems Designer/EIT for our Missoula, MT office. This individual's primary function will be to serve on a team that supports our national Control Systems practice which includes full-service capabilities and supports clients in multiple industries and market sectors providing control system assessment, planning, design, automation programming/configuration, testing & commissioning, and maintenance.
The Control Systems Designer/EIT will work with a Senior Control Systems Engineer and participate in the design of complex Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems, assisting with the evaluation and selection of equipment and system components. This position requires coordination with multidiscipline design teams, and participation in the development of SCADA/I&C construction documents for projects in multiple market sectors including tech, media & telecom, oil & gas; food & beverage; logistics; manufacturing; mining; industrial, transportation; and water/wastewater.
Responsibilities/Duties include
This person may also be involved in coordination during construction phases including the review of shop drawings and to participate in field observation on an as needed basis. This individual should be self-motivated with attention to detail and an initiative to deliver high quality, technically sound I&C designs.

The expected compensation range for this position is $60,000-$80,000 annually depending upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. (Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions. Temporary and part-time roles are eligible for limited benefits.)
