Charleston, SC. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual who is a motivated self-starter, with excellent attention to detail, who can perform a variety of functions under competing deadlines. The Acquisition Analyst will join a team delivering acquisition management strategy and execution for federal government clients.

Scope of Responsibilities:

  • Provide program management support for the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Fleet C4I Department, to include tracking action items and distributing updates to relevant stakeholders
  • Learn and understand Command and team organizational relationships to effectively communicate information appropriately and effectively.
  • Evaluate current processes and procedures and initiate process improvement actions to improve team performance.
  • Assist with technical and business analyses and reporting for assigned projects.
  • Establish and maintain knowledge management best practices using MS Office 365 tool suite. Leverage tool suite capabilities to maximize efficiencies in communication and reporting.
  • Provide logistics support which includes but not limited to material management and material procurement across several projects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business or Statistics, Mathematics, or Management Information Systems
  • 3 years of experience in defense life-cycle (acquisition) logistics support, to include: logistics principles, practices, and processes.
  • Advanced in Microsoft Office products (i.e., Outlook, Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong writing skills including the ability to synthesize information into clear, concise messages both for detailed analytical reports and executive summaries
  • Experienced user of SharePoint. Ability to create and manage SharePoint sites to include site permissions, lists and libraries
  • Proven time management and organizational skills
  • Active DoD Secret clearance

Desired Qualifications:

  • 3 years of acquisitions experience and / or direct work experience with job responsibilities.
  • Experience with NIWC organizations, processes, and procedures
  • Familiar with NAVY ERP and the Procurement Package Development Process
  • Familiar with ONETOUCH
  • Experience with getting quotes from outside vendors
  • Proficient with Microsoft Teams

Salary: $80k+ to align with education and experience
