Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University's Worldwide campus is currently hiring adjunct faculty to teach ASCI 491 - Operational Applications in Aeronautics at our Phoenix-Mesa Campus.
Course Description
This course provides students with practical experience in their chosen field of interest in a collaborative environment with practitioners and other students in an interdisciplinary setting.
Applicant Qualifications
A minimum of a Master's degree in discipline is required (please see list of acceptable disciplines below), as well as relevant industry experience from within the last 7 years.
Please note that ERAU policy requires that all adjuncts be physically located within the United States while working for the University, including duringtraining.Presently,we are able to support work for new adjuncts from all U.S. states exceptCalifornia.ERAU does not support work from international locations with some limited exceptions for individuals who are residing and working from U.S. military bases.
QualificationsApplicable Professional Certification:
Appropriate Certification: FAA Flight Instructor Certificate or FAA Ground School Instructor Certificate or FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate or FAA Airline Transport Pilot Certificate or FAA Flight Examiner Certificate, or any recognized professional certificate in a major subfield of aeronautical science.
Desired Professional Training or Experience: Rated military Flight Officer or FAA Certified Airman, minimum Flight/Ground School Instructor or military equivalent, FAA A&P Certificate, or formal academic research .
