Our Charlotte office is looking for a Civil Site Designer to join our dynamic team! This position will work within close supervision by Project Engineers and Project Managers.

• Assist with preparation of site development drawings and have a good understanding of site planning and engineering concepts.
• Assist with assembly of Construction Documents for land development.
• Design elements/components of a project and demonstrate awareness of other elements in their design related to the whole project.
• Collect and integrate cost data for use in preparing cost estimates.
• Assemble and write competent draft report sections and records of conversation.
• Assist in permitting, bidding, construction administration activities and processes.
• Collaborate with others in a team environment relating to a variety of challenging planning and design projects.
• Demonstrate knowledge of software appropriate for the discipline, showing proficiency in multiple programs specific to this role including AutoCAD and Civil 3-D.

• B.S. in Civil Engineering degree or related required
• 2-3 years of experience is desired, but not required.
• Knowledge of applicable codes and standards
• Experience with AutoCAD or similar program desired
• Demonstrate competent use of Microsoft Office products
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written - e-mails, project memos, reports, etc.)
• Excellent organizational skills
