In anticipation of possible openings throughout the academic year and summer sessions, the English Department maintains a pool of qualified persons interested in non-tenure-track teaching positions. Sample Course Plan and/or Syllabus: (1) a full course plan for an undergraduate writing course if you are applying to teach in the ISU Writing Program; your course plan should include a detailed schedule, a clear explanation of what genres students research and produce for each major writing project, how students document their learning (uptake), how projects engage course learning outcomes, and your approach to assessment and grading; and/or (2) a course syllabus for general education and/or specialty area courses, if you are interested in teaching those courses.
