Your Responsibilities - How You Will Make an IMPACT!
Performs welding and fitting skills in the repair of barges and vessels
Assists with construction / repair of special projects
Assists in performing preventative and routine maintenance on equipment and machinery.
Assists in performing safety audits / inspections of work area.
Cutout and replaces sections of damaged steel
Gouge, weld fractures, fit formed plates and structural's
Conducts confined space atmospheric tests
Participation in all safety meetings.
Job Qualifications - What You Will Bring to the ACBL Team
Must have a valid driver's license
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be enrolled at Welding trade school
Must be able to understand written and verbal instructions.
Ability to weld with stick fed welders
Ability to perform job tasks as assigned by foreman / supervisor.
High School/GED (preferred)
