About Us

At HDR, we specialize in engineering, architecture, environmental and construction services. While we are most well-known for adding beauty and structure to communities through high-performance buildings and smart infrastructure, we provide much more than that. We create an unshakable foundation for progress because our multidisciplinary teams also include scientists, economists, builders, analysts and artists. That's why we believe diversity is our greatest strength. HDR is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and an affirmative action employer.

Watch Our Story:

We believe that the way we work can add meaning and value to the world. That ideas inspire positive change. That coloring outside the lines can illuminate fresh perspectives. And that small details yield important realizations. Above all, we believe that collaboration is the best way forward.

Primary Responsibilities

HDR has an opportunity for a Civil Engineer to work on aviation projects including those related to commercial aviation, roadways, site development and civil infrastructure. The successful candidate will be part of a team to deliver design projects that include preparing specifications, technical reports, and final design drawings. This position needs a competent engineer who understands the technical requirements of site design of civil engineering projects related to aviation and can lead, guide, and advise clients, projects, and teams. This person will make decisions on significant design and engineering procedures and function as a civil engineering lead, deputy project manager, and help train younger professionals. Some travel may be required.

This is a great opportunity to learn about many facets and applications of civil engineering across a wide range of infrastructure, working for an employee-owned company.
